In the morning of October 12 2020, the community of Abbey Maria Toevluct (diocese Breda, The Netherlands) elected Dom Guido van Belle as the new abbot for a period of six years.

Dom Guido was born in 1959 at Ninove (Belgium). He entered our monastery in 1995, did his solemn profession in 2001 en in 2005 he was ordained as priest. At the time of the election he was the Superior ad Nutum of the community of Maria Toevlucht.
